An appropriated image of the Ugly Duckling which is part of a reflection on political and social situations related to the role that so-called “third world countries” play in global immigration issues.

In this visual record, we can see the action of wear- ing an Ugly Duckling mascot costume and holding a sign with the message: “There is something rotten in the state of Denmark,” alluding to the country’s immigration policies. This action was carried out in different European cities in addition to circulating a postage stamp with an image of the Ugly Duckling to demand international freedom of transit.
