A mural featuring elements of the research on the kangaroo leather industry in Australia. It highlights the image of a soccer cleat with sharp fangs contrasted with the skeleton of a dead kangaroo who is contemplating the mural. Kangaroo hunting is a political tool in this country; in exchange for votes, it is preserved as an economic activity for sectors of the aboriginal population, which is not integrated into other economic activities. Part of this research made it evident that kangaroo leather is used extensively in the sports industry.
